1. Scope

This privacy policy explains how we process personal data when you visit this website, send enquiries or request quotes, make bookings and take part in our games and team events. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data we process

Contact and enquiry data: name, email address, phone number, company, billing address, preferred format, location, date, time, number of people and your message.
Payment data: payment method and status. Credit card and TWINT data are processed directly by the payment providers; we do not receive complete card details.
Game data: team name, game progress, score and playing time on the iPads we provide.
Photos: team photos taken during the game and sent by email after the event.
Technical data: IP address, browser, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access and the referring website.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process your data to answer enquiries and prepare quotes, handle bookings, run games and issue invoices, send team photos and event information, operate the website securely and reliably, improve our offers and analyse website use statistically, and comply with legal obligations such as retention duties.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

5. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. When you visit the website, server log files containing the technical data listed in section 3 are stored automatically. This data is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period.

6. Cookies

Necessary cookies are used for basic functions such as language selection. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent via the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser.

7. Request form and email

When you contact us via the request form or by email, we process your details to answer your request and prepare a quote. The form runs on our website using Elementor Pro: your details are stored on our server and sent to us by email. You receive an automatic confirmation at the email address you provided.

8. Analytics and third-party services

Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland): management of website tags, without creating profiles itself.
Google Analytics 4 (Google): only with your consent, with shortened IP addresses. Data may be transferred to the USA; Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Google Fonts (Google): your IP address is sent to Google when the fonts are loaded.
Cloudflare (USA): content delivery network; your IP address is sent when scripts are loaded.

9. Social networks and WhatsApp

Our website links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and WhatsApp. These are simple links: no data is transferred until you click a link. After that, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

10. Disclosure and transfers abroad

We only share your data where necessary for the purposes described: with IT and service providers, payment providers, catering and drinks partners at your request, and authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. Some providers are based in the EU or the USA. For countries without an adequate level of data protection, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

11. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law. Business records are generally kept for 10 years. Team photos are deleted no later than one month after the event.

12. Your rights

You have the right to access your stored data, to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted, to object to processing, to withdraw your consent and to receive your data in a common format. Please send your request to contact@outdoorescapegames.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

13. Data security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. The website is encrypted with SSL/TLS.

14. Changes

We may update this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
