These terms apply to all bookings and services of Liberari GmbH, in particular outdoor and indoor escape games, team and company events and other game offers. Deviating agreements are only valid if we have confirmed them in writing, for example in the quote or booking confirmation.
The contract is concluded by an online booking or by our written confirmation of your request or quote. The booking person or company ensures that all participants in their group know and comply with these terms.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) including statutory VAT, as stated in the booking or quote. Charged separately are in particular a game master outside Zurich, drinks, catering, transport and individual adaptations of the game.
Online bookings are paid at the time of booking by credit card or another payment method offered. Companies, schools and organisations can pay by invoice, payable within 30 days without deduction. On site, payment by credit card or TWINT is possible.
Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Depending on the voucher, they can be redeemed for a specific game or for all standard games. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and lost vouchers are not replaced.
Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be sent by email to contact@outdoorescapegames.ch. The date of receipt by us is decisive. Deadlines are calculated in calendar days before the agreed start of the game, and percentages refer to the total booking price.
After the deadline for the number of participants, we charge at least the last number reported. Additional participants are possible subject to availability and are charged extra. Rescheduling counts as a cancellation followed by a new booking unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Costs already incurred for extras such as drinks, catering, transport, boat hire or custom game material are charged in all cases.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start of the game. If you arrive late, the playing time is shortened, with no price reduction. If the group has not arrived within 30 minutes of the agreed start, this counts as a no-show.
Our games take place in any weather, and we provide umbrellas and ponchos when it rains. In extreme weather, we may offer an indoor version. Cancellation by the customer due to weather is not free of charge unless MeteoSwiss has issued an official severe weather warning for the game location. Otherwise, the conditions in section 6 apply.
If we have to cancel or postpone an event due to severe weather, official orders, force majeure or other circumstances that endanger safety, we offer a new date or an indoor version, or refund any amounts already paid in full. Any further claims are excluded.
Participation is at your own risk. Children under 10 may only play accompanied by a responsible adult or as part of a supervised event. The duty of supervision lies with the accompanying adults or the teacher. Heavily intoxicated persons and anyone who endangers or harasses others may be excluded from the game without a refund.
Our games take place in public spaces. Participants obey traffic rules, show consideration for passers-by and residents and do not enter private or closed areas. It is never necessary to run, climb or damage anything to solve the game.
The game equipment (iPads, gadgets, bags, boxes, safes, props and game stations) remains the property of Liberari GmbH or our partner Challengebox (challengeboxgames.ch). It must be handled with care and returned complete after the game.
The booking person or company is fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence by them or their group, in particular for the loss, destruction or damage of equipment belonging to Liberari GmbH or Challengebox. We charge the repair or replacement at current new value plus any consequential costs, for example for replacement material or cancelled subsequent games. Normal wear and tear from proper use is excluded.
We are only liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, within the limits of the law. To the extent permitted by law, liability is excluded for slight negligence, accidents during the game, lost or damaged personal belongings and services provided by third parties such as restaurants, boat hire or transport. Participants are responsible for their own adequate accident and liability insurance.
Some combined offers are provided by partners, for example Challengebox indoor games, drinks, restaurants or boat hire. The partners’ own terms apply in addition for these services.
During the game we take team photos, which we send to the booking person by email after the event. Photos are only published on our website or social media with the consent of the people shown. More information can be found in our privacy policy.
Game concepts, puzzles, texts and content are protected by copyright. Copying, publishing or passing on solutions, content or material to third parties is prohibited.
We may change these terms at any time. The version valid at the time of booking applies.
Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the German version prevails.
